Salty en terprises invite suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates to apply for the following positions:
LOAN OFFICERS — 2 POSITIONS
Duty Stations: Kitwe, Kalulushi and Luanshya
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and attract potential clients, including individuals and business owners.
- Explain the company’s loan products, terms, requirements and repayment obligations to clients.
- Assess loan applications and gather the information needed to evaluate clients’ repayment capacity.
- Conduct client and business visits where required and verify relevant application information.
- Monitor loan repayments, follow up on overdue accounts and support loan recovery activities professionally.
- Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports on applications, disbursements and repayments.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships while meeting agreed business targets.
- Handle client information confidentially and comply with company policies and lending procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- A Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- A completed business-related course is required; relevant finance or credit-management training is an advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in lending, banking, microfinance, credit management or a related field.
- Good understanding of business operations, cash flow, credit assessment and loan repayment capacity.
- Knowledge of loan appraisal, repayment monitoring and loan recovery procedures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, customer-service and client relationship skills.
- Good numerical, analytical, problem-solving and record-keeping skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and the ability to work towards targets.
- Experience in banking, microfinance or credit management will be an added advantage.
