JOB DETAILS:
Sinomine International is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions at its Head Office in Lusaka West, Lusaka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the legal team and oversee contracts, agreements and legal documentation.
- Advise management on legal risks, compliance and regulatory obligations under Zambian law.
- Oversee dispute handling and coordinate with external lawyers and courts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, licences and regulatory requirements.
- Review legal correspondence, policies and submissions to government authorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
- Valid Legal Practitioners’ Practising Certificate.
- At least 5 years’ relevant legal experience, including supervisory experience, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian corporate, labour and regulatory law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Leadership ability, integrity and sound judgement.
- MS Office proficiency.
