JOB DETAILS:
The Malawi High Commission invites applications from suitably qualified male candidates for the position of Chauffeur Driver
Duties and Responsibilities
• Safe and secure transportation of Principal(s)
• Service-oriented and attention to detail
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness: interior and exterior
• Maintain vehicle readiness: fuel, tire pressure and service records
• Report vehicle faults, incidents and accidents
• Identify and report hazards
• Maintain vehicle log book
• Delivery and collection of office mail
• Confidently manage emergencies
• Flexible and able to accommodate spontaneous changes to routines and plans
Personal Attributes
• Honesty and Confidentiality
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Aged Between 25-50
Qualifications
Minimum of a grade nine (9) School Certificate or equivalent, Driving Licence Class C1, Category PG. Candidates/ those with good knowledge of car mechanics, a certificate in car maintenance is an added advantage.
Work experience and other infoprmation
• At least 4years working experience in similar job, preferably with Embassy and NGOs.
• A valid passport, driver’s license, and spotless driving record.
• Able to withstand background, credit and reference checks.
• Proof of Zambian Citizenship or Valid Work Permit is Mandatory for consideration of applications.
