JOB DETAILS:
Our client is looking for a dynamic Administration Manager to join their team
Responsibilities
• Liaise with government departments, agencies, trade associations on policies related to our business improvement and lobby for the same
• Should be able to liaise with various wings of government – ministries, councils, ZRA, PACRA, NAPSA etc.
• Manage and guide HR functions and put systems in place in the group companies
• Advise and handle legal matters
• To advise and manage employment contracts, employee handbooks and maters related to conditions of service
• To apply and process permit applications with Immigration Department and renewals where applicable
• Ensure on time renewals of statutory licenses, property rates, land rent, membership etc.
• Plan and coordinate on administrative procedures & systems and devise ways to streamline processes
• Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
• Office administration and related matters.
• Manage accommodation for senior staff as per laid down procedures
• Property management – Getting new tenants where required. Ensure on time collection of rentals from our rented properties and renewal of lease agreements
• Facilitate insurance claims with our Insurance Broker after intimation of an accident or other loss from logistics Department and other operating units.
• Any other assignment as given by the company

Qualifications
• Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management or Law or Public Administration or any other suitable qualifications from a reputed institute
• Computer literacy especially in MS Office package and usage of video conferencing is a must.
• Good knowledge in laws pertaining to labor, employment, company, immigration, and commercial matters. He/she should constantly get updated on these.
• Should have excellent English written and spoken skills besides proficiency in Zambian languages
• Minimum 5 years plus work experience in administrative areas in large companies preferably manufacturing, banking, trade associations or similar sectors
