Global IT Applications and Services are core to providing the business applications and support services required to meet our strategic goals.
In this role you will be responsible for implementing approved and assigned projects covering key applications (Child Data, SharePoint, and SAP) and infrastructure services.
You will be required to deliver small to medium projects assuring timely delivery and appropriate quality of new systems and upgrades to critical global IT services covering the full portfolio of applications and services offered by Global IT.
You will be a key member of the IT Project Delivery team and will help shape and revise project management processes that will enhance project delivery and system adoption. Dealing with Project Budgets of between £50K and £500K.
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with demonstrable experience successfully delivering systems, liaising and translating between technology and business needs. Preferably with a PRINCE2, PMP, APM certification or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience in full project lifecycle for application development including requirement gathering and analysis, solution design and realisation, testing and implementation.
With effective internal and external relationship management, excellent analytical skills and the ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple teams and countries are essential.
Strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills will be imperative as will the capacity to manage demanding workloads, independently and to deadlines.
