MINING EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
CORE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To direct the provision of the complete range of IT communications, hardware and software services required by the the company operations and offices.
To define IT policies and standards for the business, and set the strategic direction for IT, in alignment with the objectives of the company.
To develop, optimise and integrate business systems and processes
The IT Manager is the responsible for information security, across the corporate network.
Key Performance Areas/Indicators (KPA/Is):
High system availability
Resolution of items identified in IT System audits
Delivery of agreed capital projects in a timely and cost effective fashion
System optimisation and automation, especially with regard to the ERP
Service management and service delivery
Vendor management
Professional and Academic Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualifications in IT and Business/Finance
Experience:
5 Years of experience, working for the owner, in a mining company
10 years of IT Management experience
