OVERALL PURPOSE
To ensure formulation and execution of the overall core network technology strategy aligned with Zamtel’s technology and the industry’s blueprint and roadmap and with the local market business strategy. Additionally, lead the entire core network
JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Related Field.
Professional Registration:
- Member of EIZ and EngRB
Minimum Experience :
- 7 years’ experience in telecommunications
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of the following Core Network work flows and practices: Circuit Switched Core, Packet Switch Core, Evolved Packet Core.
- Knowledge on Circuit Switching, Packet Switching, Evolved Packet Core and Routing (Networking)
- Understand the principles of effective developing core network plans within a network context
- Knowledge of telecommunications related regulatory agencies, best practices and standards.
- Knowledge on Billing and VAS will be and added advantage
