Job Description

Name of Position:  Administration and Human Resource personnel Term of engagement : 2-6 months’ probation with possibility of being considered as a full employee Company:  Avencion

Scope of work

  • Recruitment of company personnel
  • Work with finance department to process monthly payroll
  • Drafting contracts and offer letters for new team members
  • Implement disciplinary actions in accordance with company employee manual and HR policies
  • Update HR policies and educate all team members on any such changes
  • Keep abreast of any changes in Zambian labor laws
  • Maintain employee records
  • Conduct benefit analysis of all departments
  • Schedule performance appraisals for team members
  • Keep track of attendance and leave days for all team members

Requirements

  • Must be available to start work immediately
  • Good knowledge of digital skills and the ability to apply them in a working environment
  • Demonstrates professional competence; contributes significantly to all staff members
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, mature, professional team player, who is a strong communicator, with good interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage effectively a team of more than 50 emplyee
  • Can work with minimal guidance and supervision

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full grade twelve certificate
  • Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • Proven experience in Human resource management and Administration
  • University degree or diploma in, Human resource management, Business Management/Administration, accounting/finance fields, Human resource management or related field; professional development certification in talent management, including learning and development, coaching, facilitation and related areas considered an asset
  • Preference of training skills, including participatory training in group settings
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
