Senior Account Manager

Job Purpose

Maximize revenues fromsales through the planning and management of sales activities, maintaining relationshipswith clients while simultaneously finding and selling to prospects.

Further pursue supervision ofcontracts, direct sales, customer acquisition, customer retention, customerrelations and grow subscriber base, revenue, and market share.

Key Responsibilities


Maintainhigh penetration of all INFRATEL’s products/services through effective channelmanagement.

Maintainexpertise on company’s products/services to effectively manage salesactivities.

Achievesales volumes, revenue and market share as per set objectives.

Participatein planning and execution of annual corporate customer business plans:

Conductand review Marketing research, feedback, evaluate and monitor overall corporatesegments.

Coldcalling potential customers and selling the company’s products.

Attendingmeetings with potential customers and closing sales.

Buildinga sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.

Workingto achieve monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Sales and MarketingManager.


Enteringand updating all required data for sales onto the company’s CRM system.

Followingup with past customers, upselling and cross selling products.

Aidingother members of the sales team.

Investigating,following up and ensuring queries from customers are resolved.


Preparereports for submission to the Head of Sales

Maintaina healthy sales pipeline and report on progress weekly.

Effectivelyuse available INFRATEL CRM.


Meetthe agreed sales targets and customer retention level and review as scheduledwith the Head of Sales.

Participatein weekly sales KPI tracking meetings.

Measureachievement of account management strategies.


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’sdegree in Sales and/or Marketing or any Business-related course.

Memberof Zambia Institute of Marketing

Minimumof 4 years sales & marketing experience in the telecommunication and ICTindustry.

Experiencein closing high value sales and high-volume sales.

Experienceof dealing with and managing multiple customers at the same time.
