Legal Assistant and CEO Support Coverage
Overview

Yalelo Zambia Ltd is looking to hire a highly motivated and growth-oriented Legal Assistant and CEO Support Coverage to offer assistance to the CEO’s Chief of Staff and to the CEO by providing technical and administrative support to the two functions.
The role is based in Lusaka.
The Right Fit candidate will:
• Assist the CEO’s Chief of Staff with drafting and reviewing legal documents
• Attend to corporate secretarial filings at PACRA and other filings or engagements with other relevant statutory bodies and/or Regulators
• Assist the CEO’s Chief of Staff in ensuring all applicable Licenses are in place and up to date
• Conduct legal research and in conjunction with the CEO’s Chief of Staff provide legal advice to the Business
• Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, court decisions, guidelines that have an impact on the Business and in conjunction with the CEO’s
• Chief of Staff advise the business of the changes
Assist CEO’s Chief of Staff in arranging and running Board Meetings and taking minutes for Executive Meetings and Board Meetings
• Support CEO’s Chief of Staff in projects undertaken on behalf of the CEO
• Assist the CEO’s Chief of Staff in external stakeholder engagement
• Provide general administrative assistance to the CEO’s Chief of Staff
The Legal Assistant and CEO Support Coverage Must Have:
• LLB (Law) Degree – required
• Advocate of the High Court of Zambia (LPQE) – desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to balance conflicting work priorities and meet deadlines
• Computer literate- excellent skills in Microsoft office
• Well versed in corporate governance
