This initiative also illustrates ENGIE Africa’s strong belief in the huge potential of these activities and has built a leading and unique position in the A2E African market and is willingness to input all the necessary resources to make these activities business scalable and grow and deliver on its promises both in terms of revenues and social impact.

Job Purpose/Mission

A2E is looking for a bright, highly motivated and disciplined  Technical Team  Lead  with a passion for entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and financial inclusion to join our team to oversee, train and manage Technical Team Officers in performing their roles



Team management:

  • Oversee, train, and manage a team of 5 – 10 Ops & Tech Associates and “workmen”;
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic in your role – you are the team leader! Be excited about motivating and managing your team!;
  • Conduct 2x2x2 & 360 reviews of team members;
  • Speak up and alert the Supervisor of any challenges / issues; and
  • Other tasks as appointed by Supervisor or management.


  • Be responsible for setting and ensuring the team meets weekly and monthly refurbishment targets and report results to Technical Team Manager and management;
  • Be diligent during refurbishment to minimize errors by the team;
  • Ensure the safety of your teammates and ensure team members have the tools needed for success in their roles (computers, tools, gloves, etc.);
  • Own other appointed tasks by Supervisor or management including but not limited to assessing and tracking quarantines and returns from the field, and
  • Other tasks as appointed by Supervisor or management.

Qualifications :

 Education:  Tertiary education required

Diploma or Degree in a relevant field from a recognized University preferably in Electrical Engineering.
