Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Catering Services

The company also offers world-class service and other aftermarket support as well as solutions for automation, digitalization and electrification

Epiroc Zambia Limited has its head offices in Chingola and branch offices in Kitwe and Solwezi. The company wishes to engage an organization to provide meals to piroc members of staff at the canteen in Chingola.

Epiroc now invites quotations from eligible organizations for the provision of catering services to the Epiroc members of staff for the period of one year with possibility of extension for another year depending on performance

Kindly note that the evaluation or criteria will be in three parts
Preliminary Evaluation or Essential Criteria
This is a criterion which bidders must meet in order to be successful and progress to the next round of evaluation If a bidder does not meet any of the essential criteria, they will be excluded from the process. This criteria is scored as Pass or Fail and will not be evaluated against capability and commercial criteria

3. Registration Certificates with PACRA and Trading License
4 Vendor Acdress and phone number details of trading place, which should be evidenced with utility bill
5. Valid tax clearance certificate
6. Bank reference letter and Bank Details: A/C Number Name, Branch code & Sort code
7. Bank statements for the last three (3) months
8. Evidence of ownership of delivery vehicle

2. Capability Criteria
The following criteria will be used to evaluate the bidders' ability skill, and experience in relation to the requirements of Epiroc All bids, which pass the essential criteria will be evaluated against the same capability criteria
• Ability to prepare and deliver buffet Lunch daily for 80 or more members of staff inclusive of main dishes and beverages
• The caterer is expected to have appropriate uniformed service crew members, equipment and ensure availability of clean cutlery with adequate chaffing dishes for the set up
• Food served must be warm and caterer must provide own equipment for warming food.

The following supporting documents will be required
1. Demonstrated evidence by the firm of having delivered similar service. Kindly provide three copies of Purchase Orders or contracts of copy extracts where the company has provided similar service within the last 24 months
2. Provide three (3) client references where catering services has been offered within the last 24 months
3. Health and Safety Requirement Proof of firm's compliance with public health requirements based on medical health examinations
4. Based on the capacity, the caterer should indicate the minimum time required to commence delivery of food after notice.

Commercial Evaluation
Please note that the price analysis will be used to consider only the lowest bidder who meets our requirements during the commercial evaluation

Litigation Status
The vendors must not have any case or injunction from the courts of law in Zambia
