Maintenance General Hand
Job Description
Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor
• To ensure the general hand is aware of his duties, processes and procedures within African Bush Camps organisation and to maintain standards throughout the lodge ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are being adhered to.
• Ensuring that all the assigned pools, main and surrounding areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensuring that gardens are watered and well maintained
• Report on any breakages or losses within the lodge to the maintenance supervisor
• Perform all assigned daily duties.
• Disposal of refuse and waste.
• Communications maintained with the maintenance supervisor
Qualifications
• O’levels school certificate
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Swimming Pool Cleaning Experience.
• In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
• Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
