Job Description


At MBCC, the Commercial Manager To manage all Commercial Functions of all Mary Begg sites and responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial relationships.


Reporting into the General Manager, this role will be responsible for:

  • Manage and control all Supply chain
  • Manage all Contracts with Clients
  • Manage all Contracts with Suppliers
  • Manage all SLA’s with Service Providers
  • Maintain stock costing model and general ledger
  • Month end reporting and group deadlines
  • Analyse key transactional controls and improve all control processes
  • Ensure strong Stock Controls
  • Optimise all Procurement for Quality, Delivery and Price
  • Manage all Procurement Logistics
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all records
  • Manage appropriate archiving of records
  • Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis
  • Providing on the job training and guidance to all staff in domain
  • Budgetary control
  • Client relations


  •  University Degree in Supply chain Management or Business or similar preferred
  • 10 years post-qualification experience
  • Must be a member of ZIPS
  •  Excellent analysis skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Deadline orientation and time-management skills
