Purpose of the position

The Integrated Decision and Analytics Support Project (IDeAS) consortium led by BroadReach and funded by the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Zambia, is providing support to the further development of Health Information Systems in Zambia. This support is in line with the Ministry of Health’s direction to improve the quality of health care using eHealth innovations as laid out in the national eHealth strategy

The fixed term intern is required to deal with the admin backlog in the Finance, Administration, procurement and Contracts and Grants office. Providing support with various administrative clerical duties such as Inventory management through record keeping, updating, tracking, counting and reconciling and document filling and preparation

Key Accountabilities

In your role as the Finance and Administration Intern you will:


  • Field Supplies record maintenance
  • Prepartion of documentation and compliance review
  • Procurement and Administration documents management
  • Finance document filing and completeness reviews
  • Records Management
  • General Procurement, Finance and Admin support
  • The incumbent will rotate between Procurement, Finance, Administration and contracts and Management.



  • University Diploma in Procurement or Administration or Finance

Desirable Qualifications


  • College Diploma, University Degree or Professional Qualification such as ZICA,CIPS,ACCA,CIMA,CA

Experience & Skills

  • No Experience required but GCE Certificate with minimum of 6 credits
  • Post secondary school education.
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent Communication skills, oral and written
