Job description:

Purpose of Role

To perform clerical tasks in the maintenance of daily training operations including controls, verification, preparation, distribution, reporting, computer data entry and any other transactions affecting training operations To be an effective link between the Training Department and other business units ensuring smooth flow of daily training operations including computer data entry and any other transactions affecting training operations

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute clerical functions of the Training Department on the Intuition data base, inclusive of uploading of assessments
  • Provide administrative clerical support to the Training Department Work hand in hand, support and maintain effective relations with Trainers in organizing on-site Training/Assessments and communicate effectively to departmental administrators
  • Processing of permits for all employees
  • Ensure all changes, additions, etc. to employee profiles are updated in correct files
  • Draw and provide requested files and information by tracking collection and return date and time
  • Organize effective filing system or suggest and implement improvements
  • File all training documents accurately
  • Ensure personnel details are accurately filed, up to date and available as/when required
  • Administering of the Liebherr TELL Maintenance Training System (On-the Job Training-OJT)
  • Assigning and enrolling of courses to candidates, plan and monitor candidates development in the Liebherr OJT Training
  • Running of reports and mediating between maintenance personnel and selected appointed mentors/coaches to specific equipment on the Liebherr OJT
  • Coordinate flight, accommodation, meals, access and trainer logistics for all external training providers
  • Entry of employee timesheets
  • Raising material and purchase requisitions as requested by the Supervisor
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full Grade Twelve Certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration added advantage Diploma  in Record Management, Administration or related field.
  • At least 1-year experience in the same or similar position
  • ICT background/qualifications will be an added advantage
