Job description:

Purpose of the role:

The Warehouse Superintendent will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods and consumables in the warehouse. Will oversee staff, procedures and management of inventory control processes.

Responsibilities:

Plan and manage staff, workflow within the warehouses and stock yards.
Coordinate and monitor the efficient and effective receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and consumables.
Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes and cycle counts at regular intervals.
Inventory Control: ensure that accurate inventory levels are maintained.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with end users
Planning pre-picking activity and ensuring this is carried out efficiently and accurately.
Take responsibility for process improvement and team development to continually improve performance
Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements
Requirements / Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management
ZIPS registration or the qualifications necessary to allow such registration on application
Minimum 5 years Warehouse experience
Computer data extraction, analysis and reporting skills, e.g. Cognos, ODBC, Power BI, SQL etc.
Microsoft Office and Pronto skills
Good use of English, both spoken and written
