Duties and Responsibilities include but are not subject to:
Working with HR in the process of hiring casuals to cover for permanent staff going on leave.
Reconciling and approving schedules for payment of those casuals.
Ensuring the correct issuance of PPE to all Nemchem staff, including Managers and admin staff.
Overseeing the collection and further distribution of second hand PPE.
Coordinating ordering of PPE both locally and from South Africa.
Compiling and monitoring schedules for payment of gratuities and other benefits.
Checking and signing off on final benefits and clearance documents for employees who leave the company for whatever reason.
Monitoring payroll input completed on time.
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with accounting software and programs
Knowledge of Sage Evolution Accounting System (Pastel)
Knowledge of Belina Payroll
