JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose;
The Procurement Officer will manage all sourcing needs for the company and help to identify where aggregated spending might offer better value for money and will also work closely with the other key executive members on administering supplier contract and assisting in the implementation of supplier contracts.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee procurement processes, including review of purchase requisitions, request for quotations, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase and delivery forms
• Provide a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and best quality of service
• Handle procurement activities such as the tender process, grant requirements, supplier relationships and contract management for goods and services
• Oversee procurement processes, including review of purchase requisitions, request for quotations, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase and delivery forms
• Management of leases, contracts and agreements for services and goods.
• Ensure that Company procurement policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Follow-up local purchase orders, payments, and delivery confirmation.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience
• Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or Equivalent
• CIPS Graduate Diploma
• Must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ practical experience in Public Procurement Sector
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Negotiating Skills.
• Contract Management Skills
• Must be a member of ZIPS

Associate Degree
