ZICTA is looking to employ a Cybersecurity Technologist to be based at the Regional Office in Ndola who will be responsible for the provision of technical support to all Social Media and financial fraud complaints as well as to facilitate for the process of receiving digital forensic cases and forwarding them to Headquarters.

•Plans, Coordinates and implements security measures and analysis to protect computer systems from unauthorized access.
•Processes all cyber complaints and produce reports that relate to cybercrimes.
•Takes down social media incident statistics for easy identification of social media crime trends.
•Facilitates the process of receiving digital forensic cases and forwarding them to Headquarters.
•Engages with law enforcement and other relevant stakeholders on matters relating to combating of cybercrime.
•Processes data retention notices or warrants.
•Assists with disseminating information on licensable cyber security services.
•Participates in the investigation of cyber-crime incidents to ensure that they are adequately managed and necessarily disseminated to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
•Stays up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
•Educates the law enforcement and other security wings on matters to deal with investigations and execution of warrants.
•Enforces Sim card compliance directives and guidelines.
•Conducts Automatic Violations Detection using Automated Spectrum monitoring systems.
•Conducts sensitization programme to educate the end users of the social media trends.
•Executes activities of a Cyber Inspector as prescribed by the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 4 of 2021.
•Performs any other duties that may be assigned in relation to the role.
Qualifications and Experience
•Full grade 12 Certificate
•3 years’ experience in Information Technology
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer networks, computer engineering or electrical/ electronic engineering or equivalent.
•Professional/ Specialist Training in any related fields such as GCFA/GCFE/CCE/CFCE CSFA/CISSP/CISA or Reverse Malware Analysis, Digital Forensics or ISO 27001) is an added advantage
•Affiliation to ICTAZ or any relevant professional association
•Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
•Ability to provide technical support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
•Good problem solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
•Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times.
• Be able to multitask effectively during busy times.
•Exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
•Creativity and ability to think around problems and come up with creative solutions is helpful.
•Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
•Working knowledge of common operating systems and software applications.
•Adequate familiarity with equipment found in ZICTA computer facilities.
