SAfAIDS is a regional NGO working across the SADC region, as a trendsetter in promoting integrated effective and ethical development responses to SRHR, by enabling Gender Equality, Social Inclusion and Resilience for All. SAfAIDS is looking for an innovative, dynamic and young professional with a trail-blazing record to join the SAfAIDS programmes team as graduate trainee in the Zambia Country Office. The candidate must have outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The position supports the Country Coordinator, and is responsible for the implementation of various programmes in the Country Office; through working closely with the implementing partners, other stakeholders and beneficiaries. The Graduate Trainee Programmes will action delegated additional responsibility by the Country Coordinator; and the Country Representative as necessary. This position will also ensure effective and efficient electronic data management and compilation of reports to illustrate progress against set targets. The position requires a candidate with a balance between strong technical skills, analytical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills, which are collaborative and progressive. He/She will be expected to ensure efficient and quality delivery of country initiatives.
- A Degree in and Post Graduate qualification in Social Sciences, Development Studies or related areas in Biostatistics, Population Studies, statistics or any relevant field is an added advantage will be an added advantage
- Minimum of at least 1-2 years relevant experience
- Strong qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
